ICC Code Course: The course covers the Special Inspections for Reinforced Concrete as covered in the International Building Code (IBC). The course helps to assist the student in studying to take the code section of the ICC's Reinforced Concrete Special Inspection exam. This course does not cover the plans portion of the exam. Each module must be completed and a passing score obtained on all of the quizzes to obtain a certificate of completion. This course covers structural reinforced concrete plan reading. The course assists the student in studying to take the plans section of the ICC's Reinforced Concrete Special Inspection exam. This course does not cover the code portion of the exam. Each module must be completed and a passing score obtained on all of the quizzes to obtain a certificate of completion. At the end of the course five sample tests are provided from a database to practice taking the test. ICC Preferred Provider Continuing Education Course This course will provide a brief overview of the fundamentals, codes and standards, including the International Building Code (IBC) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) 318, regarding the construction of structural foundations including both shallow and deep foundations.  Topics will include a review of foundation requirements including concrete strength, cover, protection and forms.  Shallow and deep foundations will be covered including reinforcing steel, seismic requirements, and drilled shafts. Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: Understand the ACI 318 requirements for cast-in-place foundations.
