ICC Preferred Provider Continuing Education Course 0.3 CEU’s This course provides an overview of the special inspection process and includes a review of special inspections, stakeholder’s duties, jurisdictional inspections, special inspection types and alternate products and methods. The role of the special inspector will be covered including inspection duties prior to arriving and at the project site. Details of the special inspection requirements are reviewed for the inspector, project owner, building official, and contractor. Included is a review of the differences in requirements for jurisdictional inspections and special inspections, as well as continuous and periodic special inspections.
